Jamieson & Smith's 100% shetland wool is traditionally used in the knitting of Fair Isle garments.
The name "2ply jumper weight" refers to the plys in the yarn. This wool is a 4ply Woollen Spun thickness.
4ply/fingering 25g ball approximately 105m/114yds
100% Real Shetland Wool
Suggested Needle Size: 3/3.5mm
Tension: 28 sts and 36 rows over 4 inches using 3mm needles over stocking stitch.
28 sts and 32 rows over 4 inches using 3mm needles over Fair Isle.
Please Note: 2ply Jumper Weight does not have names for shades, the descriptions given here are for reference only to help you. Any stickers on ballbands may also have a name on them. This is from the spinner and again, is just a reference. Please always go by the actual shade number when ordering/re-ordering.
