Improvers - Crochet Workshop - Hexagon Cardigan (2 sessions)
Finally it's here, our Hexagon Crochet Cardigan workshop!
So many of you have asked and I'm very happy to announce that you'll now have the chance to make your own version of the ever popular Hexagon Crochet cardigan over two Thursday evening sessions.
Whether you have recently started to crochet or been at it for a while, this workshop is for you if you are ready to challenge yourself a little to make your first bespoke garment, made to your own measurements.
Please note this workshop is NOT SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS. You should be able to make a granny square, including magic loop, slip stitches, dc and treble stitches. I'll help as needed but please note this is not a complete beginner's course. If in doubt, get in touch and we can discuss your current skill level to ensure you get the best out of any workshop you attend.
NOTE: There is no pattern as such as than the basic shape as you will be shown how to customise the cardigan and make it truly your own in session 2.
NO MATERIALS INCLUDED! This workshop does not include any materials. Please bring any DK weight yarn you may wish to use and a 5mm hook with you. For a medium (cropped/size 14/16) cardigan you'll need about 4-500g of DK weight yarn.
Alternatively, you can purchase materials for this workshop with a 10% discount either prior to the event (just provide your booking confirmation at time of purchase) or on the day.
Session 1 - 22nd August 2024 from 6 to 8pm (where we'll get set up and start both pieces needed for the cardigan); and
Session 2 - 12th September 2024 from 6 to 8pm (where we'll look at joining the pieces and start to customise our cardigans).
Please note that between Session 1 and 2 you'll be sent home with "homework" to finish your two pieces you started during Session 1.
These sessions will build on each other and it is not possible to attend a separate session 2 on a later workshop so please ensure you are free and able to commit to both dates!
This workshop will take place at our store in the Corn Exchange, conveniently located between the bus and train stations in Leeds city centre.
Please feel free to arrive at the shop any time from 5:30pm for a 6pm start, giving everyone the chance to settle in before we start.
Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel your booking by emailing sonja@bellwetheryarns.co.uk by 12noon 7 [seven] days prior to your scheduled workshop. Eg, for a workshop to take place on Thursday, please cancel your booking by 12noon on the previous Thursday.
