The first dye batch for the year 2024 has emerged from the Bellwether Yarns studio - A set of 5 mini skeins - Chalk Tiles.
These semi-solid tonals with a grey/chalky undertone have been dyed on our Platinum Sock base, consisting of 75% superwash Merino and 25% Nylon and run to approximately 85m per 20g mini skeins (425m/100g).
Superwash yarn may be washed on the wool cycle in your washing machine but we recommend handwash in lukewarm water. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat.
Our yarns are hand-dyed in our dedicated studio in North Leeds using professional acid dyes. A small amount of colour may be released during the first couple of washes, particularly for strong blue/red colours and we suggest these be washed by hand separately, adding a small amount of white vinegar.
Please note that we try and show colours as true as possible but colours may look different from monitor to monitor.
