If you are looking for a treat for yourself or a gift for someone special then this wonderful soft scarf with a really lovely drape may just fit the bill.
The yarn used was a blend of Merino/Cashmere/Nylon for the warp and Merino/Yak/Nylon for the weft.
Hand-dyed in deep purples in my dedicated dye studio in North Leeds and then hand-woven on my Rigid Heddle Loom.
This is truly a one of a kind, as this colourway has solely been dyed for this scarf. So you can rest assured that you will never see another one exactly the same!
Whilst the yarn is super-wash (and can therefore be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle), I always recommend a soft rinse in cool water, allowing the item to dry flat. Due to the hand-dyed nature some colour release may happen during the first couple of washes. If possible, avoid scented wool washes as they tend to cause colour bleeding.
